colors revealed

Act 4.6 lines 10-15
Kent's speech shows some of the true colors of three of the main characters. First of all, Kent's soliloquy revels that Kent is the most genuine character. He sincerly cares for his brother Edward and only turned against him when he damaged the kingdom. He loves his brother, but to save himself he has to go along with Mortimer and Isabella. Truly his heart relents for Edward and Mortimer is the "traitor". On the other hand, it also reveals that Mortimer and Isabella are having an affair as the "kiss while they conspire". Kent uses the word "conspire" which is a negative word for their plots. They aren't doing what is best for England, they are doing what is best for themselves.
